Mountainside Community Church was founded in 2008 with a simple but powerful conviction: that Jesus changes everything. What started as a small gathering of people who loved God, loved each other, and loved their city has grown into a thriving church family rooted in the heart of Reno.

For many years we called Depoali Middle School home — setting up and tearing down every Sunday with a team of faithful volunteers who believed the church was worth it. That season shaped who we are: a people who show up, serve hard, and never take community for granted. Today we're grateful to have a permanent home at 8755 Technology Way, where we continue to welcome anyone and everyone through our doors.

We are affiliated with the Evangelical Free Church of America and networked with The Gospel Coalition — anchored in the historic Christian faith and committed to the authority of Scripture. But more than anything, we are a church full of ordinary people who have been transformed by an extraordinary God, and we believe He's not done yet.
